Q: My shasta daisies bloomed with unporportional petals and the yellow center is missing all the outside "spots." How can I help this from happening next year?

A: My guess is your plant has a disease called Aster Yellows and there is no cure. Take bagged samples and photos to an independent garden center for an accurate ID. Plants with aster yellows should be removed (roots and all) and disposed of in the trash. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
