Question From: B. Morris - Royal Oak, Michigan, United States
Q: We’ve used coffee grounds around inside plants but seems to produce small flies. Is this only meant for outside application? If used outside r there any cautions?b
A: The coffee grounds are not the source of flies. The flies are soil gnats that often come in the soil of plants. Some folks use them on house plants. I do not and would recommend a light hand when using. As I said in the article if used too thick by themselves they may cake and repel water. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
