Q: On a young mountain ash should one thin the first crop of fruit due to their weight bending the trunk.
A: Probably a good idea and it certainly won't hurt the tree. Be sure to keep it watered until the soil freezes. It likes moist but not soggy soil. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
