Q: We bought a Sioux Crapemyrtle tree and it looked good for a few days now it seems to be dying a little each day. Used a root stimulator and watered it good and had several days of rain. Then started to water it each day. Do we need to trim off the dead looking blooms and keep watering? what to do?
A: I would water it every other day. I might also give it some shade in the heat of the afternoon. Maybe you have a sunbrella. Best not to plant shrubs during a heat wave. Best Nancy
