Q: I bought a small green/purple leaf spirea and every stem is covered in brite green bumps. They do not appear to be moving and plant still looks healthy and us starting to flower. What could it be?
A: My guess is it has scale- an insect.. Once the hard covering is formed it is almost impossible to control. If it is under warranty I recommend you return it. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy,
