Question From: Detroit, Michigan, United States
Q: I cannot get my stargazer lilies to bloom. Every spring They come up and get blooms on them and before they bloom, they began to turn brown and wither. I have moved them into different spots in my yard to allow them to get full sun but so far nothing helps. I hope you have a solution to my problem, it's my favorite lily. Thanks you in advance.
A: Lack of sun, they need six hours or more, and shallow planting ( six to eight inches are recommended) are two reasons Star Gazers do not bloom. They also need a cold treatment, so if you planted them in spring they may have missed out. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
