Question From: K. Slotkowski - West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, United States
Q: Hi Nancy, We have an area in front of our condo (see pic) that has a Mikawa Yatsubusa dwarf maple surrounded by Juniperus Procumbens Nanas. Because of the height of the Junipers, we would like to have a recommendation for flowers around the periphery. Something that would be colorful, but wouldn't detract from the appearance. Can you help us?

A: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder Ken. I think purple blue petunias and dusty miller would look great. Pink Bubble Gum petunias are another option and they make great landscape plants. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
