Question From: K. Swanson - McPherson, Kansas, United States
Q: Received new quart pots of perinneal tall phlox at our nursery. Noticed in afternoon that upper leaves are rolling in and look like a green bean pod. There are no signs of spider mites or webs. What causes this??
A: Leaf rolling is said to be caused by spider mites. They can be very hard to see. Try using a magnifying glass. They may have been sprayed in advance, so the mite are dead. I'd confer with the nursery. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
