Q: 15 yo weigalia healthy until a couple of weeks ago. Flowers were about to bloom when leaf tops browned and blooms arrested. Cold weather with lots of rain, but soil is not saturated. Any ideas?
A: Sadly I don't have a crystal ball. Unseasonably cold and wet weather ( lack of necessary sun) have stressed plants this year making them vulnerable to pests and disease. Take photos and a couple stem cuttings to an independent garden center that sells these shrubs for recommendations for control. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
