Q: In the freep today you talked about fertilizer and perennials. What about rose bushes of all varieties? Fertilize in the fall or not?
A: The recommended procedure for roses - all roses, is to fertilizer them with organic fertilizer after they go dormant. If you use chemicals fertilize them in spring just as the buds are beginning to emerge. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
