Question From: R. Allen - Lyon Charter Township, Michigan, United States
Q: I am planning to make an american flag out of flowers. I would like the flowers to be perennials so I won't have to replant it every year. Any suggestions on which flowers to use for my project? Thanks, Robin Allen
A: Most perennials bloom from 4 to 6 weeks and they often vary as far as timing. Also, you won't get the dense color your looking for so I think you are better off going with annuals. Take your layout to a garden center in your area for recommendations on flowers and numbers. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
