Q: Can I uproot and transplant a 5 ft crepe myrtle tree in October?
A: Professionals tell use spring or fall is the best time to transplant crepe-myrtles so your timing is good. Water it well a couple of days before transplanting and be sure to keep it watered for the next year. I would also use a product called MYKE that contains mycorrhizae beneficial fungi.
