Q: Hi, My outdoor bushes have this white substance and beaches are dying. Not sure what it is or how get rid of it. It spread other plants.
A: Sounds like powdery Mildew. It won't kill your shrubs. Spraying the plants with sulfur will keep them from spreading to plants that are not infected, but it will not clear up the infected plants. Take some photos of the infected plants to a good garden center to confirm and timing in our area.
