Q: I want to plant 3 different types of cucumbers on the same trellis. Will the cucumbers cross pollinate or will they be true to original seed?
A:
They may cross pollinate but the fruit on the vines in the current year are not affected. The seeds, however are and will be a cross of the two varieties. So if you plan to save seeds do not mix the vines. Happy Yardening, Nancy
