Question From: l. marrs - Petoskey, Michigan, United States
Q: I have a shade garden and put many of my large hostas in pots. Then in the fall, I plant them in the ground for winter. My question to you, can I just leave them in the pots? I live in Petoskey Plant Zone 5b so I am worried about freezing them.
A: Unless you store them in a covered area like a shed there is no guarantee they will survive in pots. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
