Question From: A. Martin - Baldwin, New York, United States
Q: I put sedums in a ceramic strawberry pot last spring and am now overwintering it in an unheated tool shed. Will the ceramic crack? and will the plants survive? I am in zone 6. Thx.
A: The pot will not crack Angela. If the sedums are hardy in your area, they should be fine. I would put a handful of snow or a couple of crushed ice cubes, depending on the size of the pot, on the surface every month or so to keep the soil a bit moist. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
