Q: Hi. I've used soaker hoses for a couple of seasons now and am thinking of using them with a rain harvesting system. Your article suggests that the MINIMUM psi for these guys is 10 psi. This would require more than 20 feet of head on my collection tanks. I was thinking tanks next to the house on modest platforms, providing about 2-3 psi. Will underground soaker hoses work at this pressure? If not, can you suggest something that will?
