Question From: D. Stewart - NEVADA
Q: I live in Henderson, NV. I have three yews alongside our entry, each in their own pot. They are on drivers and have been thriving. Now one has leaves that are yellow with brown areas, almost looking burnt. Nothing has changed except the weather has gotten hotter. Can you tell me how to help it? Thanks
A: Sounds like a water issue. Check the soil and the "driver". I assume it is a watering device of some kind. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
Q: Does that suggest too much or not enough water? The soil 1/2 inch down is moist on the yew having problems and the soil on the other two are not as moist at 1/2 down.
A: That suggests too much water. Go deeper into the soil. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
