A slide-type sprayer operates without compressed air. You hold it in both hands and pump back and forth, drawing liquid through a hose placed in an open bucket or attached to a non-pressurized tank. It sprays only when you pump. Because the sprayer pump builds very high pressure, the spray can go much higher or farther than with other types of sprayers.
